- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time. All sales are final, except where the law requires a refund. See our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy.
- Promotions come with their own conditions, shown where they are offered (section 6).
- New York (USA) law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live that cannot be waived. If something goes wrong, please contact us first.
This summary is for convenience only. It does not replace the full Terms below.
1. Agreement and acceptance
1.1 Who we are. The website firecodellc.app (the “Website”) is run by FireCode LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New York, United States, with its address at 334B Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10016. In these Terms, “FireCode”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean FireCode LLC. “You” and “your” mean the person who uses the Website or buys from us.
1.2 What these Terms cover. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Website and to the plans for our apps that you buy from us. Our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1.3 How you accept these Terms. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. By buying a plan, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or buy a plan.
1.4 Your rights as a consumer. In many countries, consumers have legal rights that a contract cannot take away. Nothing in these Terms or our policies takes away or limits those rights. When these Terms say “to the extent permitted by law” or similar words, they refer to these rights.
2. Our apps and their own documents
2.1 Each app’s website. Each app also has its own website, which publishes that app’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. They explain in detail how the app works, its licence keys, its checkout and its plans:
- Hongguo Downloader: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy
- TikTok ShortDrama Downloader: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy
- PineDrama Downloader (the same app as TikTok ShortDrama Downloader, under another name): Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy
2.2 Which documents apply. If you buy on an app’s own website or inside the app, the documents shown there apply to that purchase and to your use of the app. They follow the same rules as these Terms. If they say something more specific about the app, they apply.
3. Software tools, not videos
3.1 What our apps do. Our apps are Windows tools that save short-drama episodes from video platforms to your own computer, for your personal offline viewing. We do not own, host, store, sell or distribute those videos, and we never re-upload them.
3.2 Your responsibility. You are responsible for how you use our apps and for anything you save with them. You must follow the law where you live, the rules of the video platforms you use, and the rights of creators and other rights holders. Laws differ by country. Please check your local law before you use our apps, and do not use them where they are not allowed.
4. What we sell, prices and delivery
4.1 Our products. We sell licence keys for our Windows apps. A licence key unlocks an app’s paid features on one Windows PC at a time. You get a licence to use the app, not ownership of it. We sell digital products only: nothing is shipped.
4.2 Plans. Every app has the same plans:
- Free Plan: US$0. Download 2 series (titles) a day on each computer, with every episode. A series counts once, however many of its episodes you save, and the count resets at 00:00 UTC each day. No card needed.
- Monthly Plan: US$9.99 per month. A subscription billed every month that renews automatically until you cancel.
- Yearly Plan: US$29.99 per year. A subscription billed every year that renews automatically until you cancel.
- Lifetime Plan: US$59.99, one-time payment. No renewal and no recurring fees. “Lifetime” means the life of the product, not your life: it lasts until the app is discontinued.
Paid plans remove the daily limit on the number of titles you can download. They do not change which titles, episodes or video quality the video platforms make available.
4.3 Prices and taxes. Prices are in US dollars. The total shown at checkout, before you pay, is the full amount you pay for that purchase; if a tax must be charged for your country, it is included in that total. The price shown at checkout when you buy is the price that applies. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; for existing subscriptions, we tell you before a new price applies (see our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy).
4.4 Delivery. After your payment is confirmed, your licence key is delivered digitally: by email to the address you gave at checkout, and, if you buy from inside the app, by activating it on that PC automatically. Some payment methods take time to clear; for those, the key is issued only after the payment has cleared. Keep a copy of your key in a safe place; if you lose it, contact us and we may help after we verify your purchase.
4.5 Keys are personal. Your licence key is for you alone. Do not share, sell or give it away. A key can be moved to another PC once every 7 days. Paid features need an internet check-in with our server at least every 72 hours.
5. Subscriptions, cancellation, refunds and disputes
5.1 Automatic renewal. Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically and are charged to the payment method you used, on each renewal date, until you cancel.
5.2 Cancellation. You can cancel a subscription online at any time, or ask our support to cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future charges; your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. How to cancel is explained in our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy.
5.3 Refunds. All sales are final. We do not give refunds for any paid plan, in full or in part, except where the law requires one, for billing errors, and for charges made without the cardholder’s permission. Please try the Free Plan before you buy.
5.4 Disputes. If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly. If a chargeback is opened for a purchase, the licence key from that purchase is turned off. The full rules are in our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy.
6. Promotions
6.1 Promotion codes. We may offer promotion codes that can be used at checkout. Each code is subject to the conditions we state for it where it is offered, such as which plan it applies to, how many times it can be used and when it ends. Codes have no cash value, cannot be applied to past purchases, and may be withdrawn at any time.
6.2 Discounted first payments. If a promotion lowers the first payment of a subscription, the checkout shows the price that applies after that, before you pay. Later renewals are charged at that price unless you cancel.
6.3 Gift and promotional keys. Some keys are issued as gifts or promotions, or for a set period. They follow these Terms and any extra conditions we state when we issue them.
6.4 Misuse. We may cancel a purchase, or turn off a key, obtained through misuse of a promotion.
7. Legal and export restrictions
7.1 Age. You must be at least 18 years old and the age of legal majority where you live to use our apps or buy a plan.
7.2 Personal use only. Our apps are for individuals, for their own personal, non-commercial use. You may not use them on behalf of a business or other organization.
7.3 Only where it is legal. You may use our apps only in places where using them is legal. If the law of the place where you live, or where you are, does not allow an app, or does not allow you to download, copy or keep the content you want, you must not use it there.
7.4 Sanctions and export controls. You confirm that: (a) you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of any country or region that is subject to comprehensive United States sanctions or embargo; (b) you are not named on, or owned or controlled by anyone named on, any United States government list of restricted or sanctioned parties (such as the list of Specially Designated Nationals kept by the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control); (c) you will not use our apps for, or on behalf of, anyone described in (a) or (b); and (d) you will not export, re-export or use our apps in breach of United States or other applicable export-control or sanctions laws. We may block access from sanctioned countries or regions, and we may refuse, cancel or turn off any order or licence, without refund, where we believe this is needed to comply with sanctions or export-control laws.
7.5 We may refuse service. We may refuse or cancel an order, or refuse or turn off a licence, if we reasonably believe that you do not meet this section 7.
8. Using this website
8.1 Personal, lawful use. You may view and use the Website for your own personal and lawful purposes.
8.2 What you must not do. You must not:
- attack, overload or try to disrupt the Website or the systems that run it;
- try to get around its security, or reach parts of it or of our systems that are not meant for you;
- copy the Website, our name or our logo to pretend to be us, or to mislead others;
- send or upload malware, or use the Website for anything unlawful or fraudulent; or
- use automated tools to collect content from the Website in a way that burdens it.
8.3 Availability. We may change, suspend or stop the Website, or any part of it, at any time. We do not promise that it will always be available.
9. Our content and trademarks
9.1 Our content. The Website’s text, design and graphics, our names and our logos belong to us or to our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to us and our apps fairly and accurately.
9.2 Screenshots. The Website shows screenshots of our apps. Titles, posters and other artwork that appear inside those screenshots belong to their owners. They are shown only to illustrate how our apps look.
10. No affiliation
FireCode and our apps are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Hongguo, TikTok, PineDrama, ByteDance or any other video platform, studio or rights holder. All third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use those names only to identify the services our apps work with.
11. Links to other websites
The Website links to other websites, such as our apps’ websites and Telegram. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We do not control third-party websites, and we are not responsible for their content, products, terms or privacy practices.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that its content is complete or up to date. Nothing in this section affects your rights under section 1.4.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1 Indirect losses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Website or these Terms.
13.2 Our total liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Website or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
13.3 What we do not limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, if you misuse the Website or our apps or break these Terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you are responsible for the losses and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) that it causes us. This does not apply to the extent that the claim was caused by our own fault, and it does not limit any consumer right that cannot be limited.
15. Disputes and governing law
15.1 Contact us first. If you have a problem with us, please contact us first at support@firecodellc.app. We will both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Neither of us will start court proceedings before then, except for a small-claims case or an urgent application to protect our rights or our systems.
15.2 Governing law. Subject to section 15.4, these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them, to the Website or to a purchase from us, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
15.3 Courts. Subject to section 15.4, any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, United States, and you and we consent to those courts hearing it. Either of us may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court if the claim qualifies.
15.4 Consumers. If you are a consumer, the choice of law and courts above does not take away the protection of any consumer-protection law of your state or country of residence that cannot be waived by contract. If you are a consumer who lives outside the United States, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
15.5 No class actions or jury trials. To the extent permitted by law, you and we may each bring claims against the other only individually, and not as part of a class, collective or representative action, and you and we each waive any right to a trial by jury.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time, for example when our apps, the Website or the law change. We will post the new version on this page and update the dates at the top. A change that reduces your rights applies to an existing subscription only from its next renewal, and a change does not apply to a dispute that you told us about before the change took effect. If you keep using the Website or our apps after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you.
17. General
17.1 Entire agreement. These Terms and our Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Website and purchases from us.
17.2 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable (or removed if that is not possible), and the rest of these Terms stays in effect.
17.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, or delay enforcing it, we do not give up that right.
17.4 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms, or your licence, to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company, for example as part of a sale, merger or reorganization of our business.
17.5 Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, it is for convenience only. If there is any difference, the English version applies, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
