Privacy Policy
Key points
- This policy covers this website, firecodellc.app, and the messages you send to our support. Each of our apps has its own Privacy Policy, which explains what the app and its licence and payment services collect (section 2).
- This website collects very little. It has no sign-up or contact forms and no accounts. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. To do that, it receives your IP address and basic technical information from your browser.
- If you choose light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. It is not sent to us.
- If you email us or message us on Telegram, we use what you send to answer you.
- No selling and no ads. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
- You have rights. Email support@firecodellc.app to see, correct or delete your information.
This box is a short summary only. It does not replace the full policy below.
1. Who we are
1.1 FireCode LLC. The website firecodellc.app (the “Website”) is run by FireCode LLC (“FireCode”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a limited liability company registered in the State of New York, United States, with its address at 334B Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10016. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), we are the “controller”.
1.2 What this policy covers. This policy covers the Website and our support channels (email and Telegram). It is a notice. It is not a contract, and you are not asked to “agree” to it.
2. Our apps have their own privacy policies
Each of our apps has its own Privacy Policy. It explains what the app sends from your computer, what its licence and payment services collect when you activate or buy a plan, and the choices you have:
- Hongguo Downloader: Privacy Policy
- TikTok ShortDrama Downloader: Privacy Policy
- PineDrama Downloader (the same app as TikTok ShortDrama Downloader): Privacy Policy
You cannot buy anything on the Website, and it never asks for payment details. When you buy a plan, you do so on the app’s own website, under that app’s Privacy Policy.
3. Information we collect
3.1 When you visit the Website
- Technical data. The Website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare receives your IP address and the technical information your browser sends, such as the browser type and the page you asked for. This is needed to deliver pages to you and to protect the Website from attacks.
- Theme choice. If you choose the light or dark theme, your browser remembers it on your own device (section 14). It is not sent to us.
- No forms. The Website has no sign-up or contact forms. It does not ask for your name or email address.
3.2 When you contact us
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and any attachments. Email sent to support@firecodellc.app is received by Cloudflare’s email service and passed on to our support mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail).
- Telegram. If you message us on Telegram, we receive your Telegram name, your username, the other profile details Telegram shows us, and your messages.
- Questions about a purchase. If your message is about a plan or a licence key, we may look up your purchase in the records of that app, as that app’s Privacy Policy explains.
4. What we do not collect
- No accounts or passwords on the Website.
- No payment details on the Website.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and no tracking pixels. The Website loads no third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from the Website itself.
- We do not buy personal information about you from anyone.
5. How we use information
- to deliver the Website and keep it secure;
- to answer your questions and requests, and to keep a record of what we agreed;
- to prevent abuse and fraud; and
- to meet our legal obligations and to protect our rights.
6. Legal bases (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If the GDPR or a similar law applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: to deliver the Website and keep it secure, to answer your messages, to prevent abuse and to protect our rights. You can object to this (section 11).
- Contract: where your message is about a purchase you made or want to make.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
7. Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run the Website and our support: Cloudflare (hosting, security and email forwarding), Google (Gmail, which hosts our support mailbox) and Telegram (if you message us there). They handle information for us, and also under their own privacy policies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold, merged or reorganized. This policy would continue to apply to your information.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. Where the law of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland requires it, we rely on safeguards for these transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses that our providers offer, or a decision that a country protects personal information adequately.
9. How long we keep information
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Technical data from your visit | Cloudflare may keep limited technical logs under its own policy. Our own code stores none. |
| Support emails (in our Google (Gmail) mailbox) and Telegram chats | For as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of what was agreed. |
| Your theme choice | On your own device, until you clear it. |
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. The Website is served only over secure (HTTPS) connections, and its own code does not store personal information. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
11. Your rights and choices
11.1 Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: get a copy of the personal information we hold about you and details of how we use it; have it corrected; have it deleted; limit how we use it; object to how we use it; receive it in a common, machine-readable format; and withdraw your consent where we rely on consent. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. These rights have limits and exceptions under the law. Wherever you live, you can send us a privacy request, and we will consider it.
11.2 How to make a request. Email support@firecodellc.app with “Privacy request” in the subject line, and tell us what you want us to do. You can also message @M4st3r0 on Telegram, but we may ask you to continue by email so that we can check that the request comes from you. Requests are free of charge. For information an app holds about you, the app’s Privacy Policy explains how to make a request (section 2).
11.3 Verification. To protect you, we check that a request comes from the right person before we act on it, by matching details we already hold. We ask only for what we need, and we use it only to check your request. Where the law allows, someone else may make a request for you with your written permission.
11.4 Response times. EEA, UK and Switzerland: within one month (we may extend this by up to two more months for complex requests, and will tell you within the first month). California and other US states: within 45 days, extendable by up to 45 more days where the law allows. Everywhere else: within 30 days, or sooner if your local law requires it.
11.5 Appeals and complaints. If we refuse a request, we will explain why. If you live in a US state that gives you a right to appeal, reply to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. We would be grateful for the chance to help first, so please contact us before you complain.
12. California and other US states
This section adds to the rest of this policy for residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, to the extent those laws apply to us.
- What we collect. Through the Website and our support, we collect these categories of personal information: identifiers (IP address, email address, Telegram username); customer records (your name and email address, if you write to us); and internet activity (technical data about your visit). We collect them from you and from your browser, for the purposes in section 5, and we keep them for the periods in section 9. We disclose them for business purposes to Cloudflare, Google and Telegram.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or for profiling.
- Sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Website.
- Your rights. You can ask to know, correct or delete your personal information, as described in section 11. We will not treat you differently for doing so.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Website does not track visitors across other websites. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of selling and sharing (which we do not do).
13. Children
The Website and our apps are for adults. They are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Cookies and local storage
- No cookies from our own code. The Website’s own code does not set cookies. Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the Website, may set strictly necessary security cookies under its own policy.
- Local storage for your theme. If you choose light or dark mode, your browser saves that choice on your device, under the name fc-theme. It is not sent to us.
- No analytics or advertising. The Website has no analytics tools, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or embedded third-party video players.
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time in your browser settings.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the Website or the law changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect, for example with a notice on the Website. Earlier versions of this policy are available on request.
16. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or about your personal information, or you want to make a request, contact us:
- Email: support@firecodellc.app (please write “Privacy request” in the subject line)
- Telegram: @M4st3r0
- Post: FireCode LLC, 334B Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10016, United States
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information on the Website and in our support. Please read it together with our Terms of Service, and see each app’s own Privacy Policy for that app.
